I really lime what you've ordered. I actually like those who posted "graphics" pictures.
indeed I believe you will need to "settle in." We ordered our 2022 Ranger on 3.4.2022. We received it 9.23.2022. I made sure to write ✍ down what we ordered, printed the window sticker once Ford sent it, and then spent timeat the dealer on 9.23.2022 ensuring all that was ordered was in fact on the truck. It's surprising what one may forgot over more than 6 months!
Ours is a 2022 Cactus Grey, XLT. FX-4. Crew Cab. 302A package. Good 👍 luck 🍀!!

I didn't ask for your life story, just answer the question!
I've found the switches themselves. But it was for a F150. So I would have to cut the dash or something to mount them. I like how the Tremor has them sitting on top. I almost bought it and fabbed something up out of aluminum to hold it but it didn't look right all squared off with the curves of the round dash so back to the drawing board. So I'm SOL unless someone on here has a 3D printer and wants a new project haha
The switches in the Ranger are the same as the F250+, it’s the mounting bezel that’s different.
We have 3 Ford dealers that we get parts from. I can call any of them and try to get a part number for the bezel… I just need a VIN for a Tremor that came with the switches. Once I get my truck, I’ll call and get a quote for everything.

Man that would be awesome. I have ditch lights and some 4 inch spots I'm wanting to put on my truck but haven't found a switch plate I like. Don't want to screw anything to the dash

Still no update on my truck, but I’ve got a few things to bitch about.

Ford claimed they would be in contact “at least once every 45 days”… that’s just a flat out lie. They last time they sent out that email was on 11/6. Today is 1/14.
In all reality, that email means shit to me. It doesn’t get me my truck any faster. The fact that they used the words “promise, commitment, and no matter what” and still can’t send a form email just shows their lack of commitment, poor communication, and that they just don’t give a fu(k about their customers.

6EE38FEB-FBA9-40FA-BD9C-C2AC9E9CB058.jpeg

If they had simply said “thank you for your order, we will contact you when it gets delivered” I would have fully accepted that… they decided to up the ante with their offer and failed to follow through with something as simple as an email. That really doesn’t give me much faith in Fords abilities.

Next…
I got an email from Ford credit (it’s separate from Ford Motor Company, so that can’t be considered as contacting me once every 45 days… we’ll get to that.)
They offered me a $2500 Cash Reward for any new vehicle purchased or ordered by 1/3. Since I placed an order already, I brought it to the dealer to get it applied to my truck. They couldn’t do it because there’s no VIN yet. That’s not part of their deal!!!

I emailed Ford Credit for more info and they pretty much said “oh well, get bent.” 27 emails and phone calls later, multiple threats, etc its been extended to early April. I shouldn’t have had to make a single call… I was within the rules. Hopefully I at least have a build date and VIN by then, but you never know.

But at least they threw trinkets at us for a distraction...

To be fair, they did not say earth days. Maybe they go off some other planet, in the Ford Galaxy maybe.

I really don’t care about waiting. My daily driver has moved maybe 20-25 miles in the past 2.5 months. I won’t need a truck until spring (to tow my SxS).

What I do care about is lying. Emails that say “we care and we’ll prove it by keeping an open line of communication.” I’d rather they just tell the truth and say “we won’t have any further communication until you need to pay us for your new vehicle”. All I really ask is for Ford to keep their mouth shut instead of making promises they don’t keep.

Yeah, we got the same BS.

Following forums which had moles in the plant were the only source of info we had.

And the moles may have been controlled leaks too, I don't know. :dntknw:

Rumor has it they are done scheduling hardtop Broncos for '23... so maybe they are hoping to pump out more Rangers? :icon_idea:

I know it isn't an update like what you want... but until they have something to update they don't really have much to tell you. Its gonna be crickets until you get a VIN.

I got a VIN and production date. Just shy of 6 months and I now have a production date to look forward to… well, actually a production week.
My build is scheduled for the week of 5/1.
It usually takes about a month from production to delivery based on our past purchases, so I’m thinking I’ll see it the first week of June.

Pretty soon you won't have to put Ranger emblems on your side by side anymore.

“won’t have to” doesn’t mean I won’t do it.

I haven’t had a chance to update this thread recently, but here we go…

My truck is actually in production now. Past history of ordering vehicles tells me I should see it in about a month.
Nows the time to start figuring out what I need to buy… like the Softopper, Ford +45hp tune, etc.
