I am looking to buy shocks for my truck and i want some opinions form you guys. I am leaning forwards to buying the pro comps but i'm still dubious to which brand would be best. Not looking to spend over $40 a piece and i will be leveling the truck this week as well. 2" coil spacers up front maybe stock blocks on the rear. Any input will be appreciated. Thanks.

Pro Comp is right about in the middle of the scale... Honestly I would put them on my truck! My friend had those exact ones on his Ranger... We jumped it, and 4 wheeled it and these shocks took a beating after seeing what we put them through Id own them.

I recently bought front & rear Procomps ES3000's, I also installed a 2" leveling spacer ,so when I bought the front ones I decided to get ones that were 2" longer then a shock designed for the skyjacker 5" lift that I installed. They cost $37.50 each from 4wd headqrts & another 4.95 for the shock boots

I'm running stock F-150 shocks on mine with the washer lift. I used the Monro-Matic 32381. I'm pretty sure that's the shocks part number. May have to double check the mounting lenghts on Monroe's website.

I am running regular stock replacement Nitro Skyjacker's on mine, I really like them. I have a V8 with new Explorer springs... not sure where that puts me for ride height over what it was 26 years ago.

streetsideauto.com has them for the same price as Summit, but orders over $50 have free freight. Scared the heck out of me, ordered them Friday at noon and got them at around 11:00am on Saturday. Being out of Kansas City I guess stuff has a much quicker/shorter route to get to me than out of Ohio. For sure I will be doing more business with them.

From what I have gathered they are comparable to Pro-Comps in both quality and price. So I went with the funner to say name and neater looking IMO shocks. They also came with boots which makes the complete package a little cheaper. They are available in different lengths, I checked mine and couldn't get the overall length to excede what their replacement shock would do.
