Well, that was supposed to say..."WHEEL" studs.
uh, my keyboard bit me...

Hey y'all,
-How difficult is it to replace the wheel studs on the back end of an 88' 4x4?
Ive got 2 that are broken, one on each side. If I have to remove the axle shaft....Guess Ill replace the bearings and seals while I'm in there.
-How difficult is it to replace the oil pan gasket?
I know in my Bronco, the engine needs to be removed or at the bare minimum, lifted as much as possible to get the job done.

Any advise greatly appreciated.

wheel studs are easy
pull wheel, pull brake drum, tap broken studs out, and draw new studs in

oil pan gasket same as bronco

Yeah, wheel studs are easy. Make sure to coat the splines with anti-seize and have a bearing or washer under the nut when drawing it up, and to re-torque the wheel after a few hundred miles.
