im starting to wonder about you. i think you need meds.the guvment was gonna give blackwidow $4000 cash for clunkers until they saw he had a SBC under the hood....Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.....ijushadtaaaaa
chord.......you could always take/chop some out of the chassis & driveshaft to make the short bed fit....but that would be a lotta work......depends on how much you wanna short wheelbase truk......
the original driveshaft will work with a bastard u-joint and the correct yoke for the transi think i'm going to go ahead and get the long bed and if i can't stand it, i'll shorten it. Are you going to have to get a driveline made for your truck blackwidow, or will something else fit?
if you could find a track thats closer than 1 1/2 hours from me, be my guest.chord.....Ima drive my '36 to blackwidow's house......
take a hacksaw & cut the yoke off his oem driveshaft.....
hook up the dial-indicators & weld him a sbc yoke on it.....
then we goin to the t-rackkkkkkk.......
EDIT: good choice on testin out the long-bed with the engine swap done first
if you pay the gas, ill drop it off at your house, i dont think im doing the swap anymore. im too afraid of doorgunners 2.9go ahead and grab his motor, then drop it off at my house too
You sure about the length? After messing around with different ideas, I ended up just having a brand new drive shaft made. Wasn't too expensive. I didn't ask, and they didn't mention otherwise, but they did reuse a couple things off my old shaft, which I imagine the rest of the old rusty POS got scrapped.the original driveshaft will work with a bastard u-joint and the correct yoke for the trans
ues, the long tail shaft th350 or the th700r4 like im using fit in the same location as the tk transmissions. mine sits on the factory mount no problem. You sure about the length?
