1979 Mercury Capri, factory 5.0L, all original 90 000 original km's, clean underbody, clean body except for bubbling around sunroof. I'm pretty happy I guess, its been 3 hours and I miss my truck

I know hes a good guy though, he is going to at least treat it right. Probably make it better than i had it. I sold it to a diehard Ford guy.

Let me put it simple..cops around here don't dare come in our yard, or bother me in town. Spent a week in Jail because one kept harassing my father about his old truck being to loud. The man was 67 leave him alone, so he got a F-150 in the side of his crusher pushing him back into the parking lot. I do not like cops and well all the cops around here are as crooked as the drug dealers they bust. I wouldn't be surprised if they did deals with them and then said "well we're done with them, got all we want lets bust them and make ourselves look good". But everyone here knows their crooked so it don't work.

But all in all beautiful truck...what are your plans with the car?

The insurance is an issue because the truck has been flagged by the ministry for having "excessive race modifications". So I have to get hot rod or collecter insurance, but it won't appraise for enough. Having a bone stock Capri will be much better for me.

The Capri is great shape, all original 5.0L, auto (boooooooo), sunroof. I have wanted a clean Capri for a long time so its the best I could've hoped for in a trade for my truck. I might restore it...or I might go bigblock, 5 speed and make her a nasty street machine.

Yes sir. My motor was deemed to be "for no use other than on track performance" and same with my 4 link. No word of a lie.

In Ontario, they have the stupidest rules. You can do anything to any car modification wise, but as soon as it is deemed "for no use other than on track performance" it becomes illegal to operate on the street without special insurance and registration. Unfortuneately, my truck wouldn't (I'm meerly assuming it wouldn't) meet the minimal appraisal to be insured under that class.
