I bought a set of rims that were supposed to be 16x6.5, they werent they were 16x8 and they tore the crap out of the tires, they rubbed on the struts. If they had been the 6.5 like I was told would that have happened?
The answer depends on if I rip this cat a new @55hole or not.

Thanks
Carey

All depends on the back spacing of the rim.

What size tire are you running on them?

Struts on a 94??? Not stock!

I've got 15X8's w/5.5" backspacin all around on my green 94, 235/70's up front, and 275/60's on rear..................just bought 15X12's w/7.5" backspacin for the rear of the RAT Ranger, but that's not a "stock" setup for a Ranger:icon_twisted:

IM sorry this isnt for my ranger, its on a malibu.
The tires are 225/60/16. From what I was able to figure out had it been the 6.5 inch rim I would have been ok, but the 8 inch has like 0 offset.

OK I think I found my answer... Thanks CHvl and Sasquatch for your time. The rims in questions were supposed to be 16x6.5 (35-45 offset) they turned out to be 16x8 (0 offset) throwing them off, had they of been the 16x6.5 the offset would have been right therefore giving me the good deal I thought I was getting.
Hell 175$ for 4 brand new tires and a 16" Impala rim upgrade, they looked good on there too bad they didnt work!1!
