Also watch the flywheel with a T5 swap, they changed the balance of the 302 in '80. Yours is 28oz, the original engine hung on the T5 would be 50oz. People swap them into first gen Mustangs so someone somewhere must be making a 28oz flywheel for them.
Summit Racing makes flywheels and flex plates in all combinations of size, teeth, and imbalance. Just watch if you have a spacer.

I used one of their flex plates to but a 50oz HO into my mom's 64 Mustang with C4 trans. The engine originally had a little spacer shim behind the flex plate, and when I put the Summit plate in there it locked the engine up once the engine and trans were mated, until I took the spacer out. It was only about 1/32" thick, but it made all the difference.
