Dude this is gonna be awesome. I'm thinking you should go low and wide. Maybe dovetail your bed if your gonna even keep the bed? And if you ever go crazy and are gonna swap out your front axle i'm game for it. My 93 250 diesel needs a solid front axle.

I may eventually go with rocks, time will tell how these axles hold up. I have aline on a 6.9idi that I am pretty sure I will buy so the front end weight and the torque is going to go way up.

In other news I comp cut one fender and have the other fender and hood off. I will be cutting more off tomorrow

This is a VERY rough cut for the fenders, I only have one done and I will probably have to cut quite a bit more out.

Truck with no clip

No more heater core or AC

This is the trimmed core support, this side is totally done, the other side needs some more grinding

Over all width the grill will be

Also I pulled the rear tank and just set it under the truck for now, it will be right behind the cab when it is done.

So, a couple of small things have changed because of a trip me and my dad are making in a couple of years in this truck. For one, I am for sure getting the 6.9 idi, also I am going to try and find a zf-5 for it. Also there will be some tube fenders up front kind of like a jeep. And instead of full hydro I am doing hydro-assist because I don't want to loose control of this on the hwy. Also I am planning a slightly larger tube bed that goes into a roof rack because this will be an expedition type rig. It will still run 44in tires.

Another thing, after I buy all of the expendables for my cage I am going to buy a 110v welder to hold me over till I buy a Hobart 187 in June. It will be just for body work type stuff, all non-structural

Well I wanna beat on this truck really bad so short term I am going to leave it throw some 37's on it ( or 42's if a deal works out ) weld the rear and throw the 6.9 in it. Long term shackle reversal with a pack built out of a mix of the rear pack the front pack and some xploder springs if I need them

Painted some parts, comp cut my other fender, and ordered some 1in body lift blocks to replace the body mount bushings with to solid mount the cab. I am hoping to have the 429 outta here pretty soon so I can get the 6.9 afro wired in so it will move on its own power. I will try and get some pics sometime soon
