Maybe from the factory, but as they say "there's no replacement for displacement"

The 429 was swapped in from a car, the guy I got it from couldn't remember from what but he had looked up the casting number when he was changing out a seal or something and the one from the 460 didn't fit.

I worked on it today for like 3 hours, chasing out more wires. The farther I get into this the worse it gets, I decided I am going to just buy a wiring kit

I really like that wiring harness, good price and nicely made.

Id do it, low and wide. The extra room in cab will be amazing.

I wasn't sure hence the ? behind it. BTW thanks for clarifying. I wasn't expecting all of this wiring crap and I was planning on immediately re-building the engine and dropping the trans and tcase so that I know what I am working with.

Today I pulled the driveline, I removed the exhaust, I cleared out the inside, cut some body, cut some bolts ect.

I took all of these pics to show the guy I am building the cage with so that he has an idea what we are working with.

looks like its gonna be a fair bit of work. im not certain but i believe the toyota rear springs are an off centre centering pin. you did say that your using the trail gear rears on the front.. im assuming that means the yotas. if so id put them in backwards and that should push the front end forwards. think they'll carry the weight of a 429?

if thats the plan then coooool but either way id definetly push that front end forwards.

I was planning on those originally but I decided they are too light duty, for starters I am going to make a custom pack but eventually I am going to get superduty springs
