First time here guys and gals... i am having a difficult time finding a replacement front coil spring for my 94 Ford ranger supercab because of the STX tag. All aftermarket springs list the criteria the same way...Most say "fits all Rangers 1994-1997 except STX" What is the actual difference with the STX? Can anyone shed light on this for me? The truck isn't lifted.

nothing. no difference at all. for some reason all parts stores confuse high rider with stx. your truck is not a high rider so you dont have anything to worry about. if you are replacing springs though, you can use a leveler spring (+2") and still be alignable.

Yes LMC does but they are usually overpriced, best to use them as a last resort. On a side note about LMC, I still wish they would split the early Rangers and BII from every thing else.
