The username is based on my old 92', she unfortunately lost the fight with time. What I am finally posting about and looking for some help here and there on (I am far from a mechanic) is my 2000 xlt. 4x4, 3.0 and the kicker. Only 90000 on her, about 4k of which are mine since getting her running.

When first purchased it ended up needing a new PATS transceiver and a battery. Programmed new keys and fired right up. I've had to replace the IAC (broke a bolt head off, still looking for a replacement), the MAS and put some tires on, because they were desperately needed.

Next big project is front end work, but the big question is the floor. I have a friend who is going to help me with the welding but where can I find metal for the floor or a new floor pan? Thought you guys might know. Looking forward to becoming an active member of this forum, I've gained so much info here already, can't wait to build this truck into something great.

I can't seem to find any pre-made floor pans for your truck. You could go to Lowe's and get a piece of sheetmetal and put that in place.

before you get too far into it, check out the frame. specifically the section where the front & rear are joined.
they like to rust in between those 2 plates out of sight.

With the amount of rust on that side (driver's side, maybe small accident in it's life) I wouldn't be surprised. I'll definitely check it out
