Change the slave, clutch, flywheel, Rear main seal, and if you want the front input shaft seal on the transmission (not as important I'd say tho). Also change the pilot bearing. Lube the input shaft and pilot bearing too, but not so much that it flings grease all over the clutch, just a light coat. I'd also flush the clutch line before you install the new slave so you don't contaminate it as these slaves are known for leaking.
And yes get a self adjusting clutch. Just get the whole kit with a new pressure plate and disc, usually comes with a new pilot bearing too.
The slave cylinder comes with a new throwout bearing. I got my slave from oreillys for $50 lifetime warranty, it's still working fine but I do reccomend oem or a higher quality brand. I couldn't afford one At the time and am always wondering when the thing is gonna leak
I'd reccomend a luk clutch if you're trying to be economical, I've got one in my truck. 30k on it and still works great. It's very light and nice for daily driving.
Another thing be careful when bleeding the system. These things can. Be a real pita. Always bench bleed the slave. I didn't and it turned an easy job into a nightmare.. Just lookup ranger master cylinder bleeding if you don't believe me lol
