Don't forget the cool collapsible tiedown cleats on the side of the bed. Those are awesome!
Were those an actual Ford installed option back then or just aftermarket parts? I've seen similar cleats on other older trucks. :dunno:

They may be dealer installed... definitely not a factory option.

Lemme know if you wanna get rid of that tailgate. I hate the giant aluminum plates and the holes underneath.
Probably not worth sending it all the way down there... it's got a bunch of big dents in the top and the inside is pretty beat up. Hear ya about the trim covers though, I am not a fan of those either.

I don't believe it's a hybrid, it is a second gen, and I'll have to look again but I'm pretty sure it had the ribs on the center section like a normal D35 would as opposed to the smooth hybrid style.

Here's a cool little rig I ran across - 4 cylinder, 4x4 trucks are kinda hard to find! Unfortunately most of the glass is gone, I can't get a title and it has been sitting for a long time so it'll be a parts rig.

Quiz: what exactly makes this an exceptionally desirable truck? There are two things. Show me your Ranger knowledge!
