Yeah I plan on doing the gussets and boxing the mounts but do i need to move the spring mounts what if I don't am I gonna have to move the sway bar forward? And I'm gonna but a piece of 2 in angle across the bottom of the passenger side axle tube my buddy's big into jeeps and I've seen them bend alot.and I plaint on building my coil buckets like a jeep pretty much like (ben parker's)escortgts's I think that's his name on here lol my buddy's got a plasma table and I think I'm gonna have him make some spiderweb gussets for the Dana 30 to add a custom touch hahaha
What's a sway bar?

Im digging the color....you definitely need to make it to the spring round up. Just so I can get a picture of two Lapis blue trucks together.lol

enjoying the rivet grinding. it's the best part about RBVs.

Wait, I was thinking you had an IFS ranger with my last comment. Must of thought about another build on here.
So yes, you will need to relocate the coil mount on the axle unless you want to make custom hoop coil/shock mounts.

And I agree, the RBV rivets suck.

Moving the axle coil mount helps keep the coil from bowing into an S-shape like mine are doing.

That's how mine were, got really bad when I moved the axle forward 1.5". So unless you want to keep the axle in stock location and trim the rear corner of the front fender, you will need to move coil mount on axle.
Or you can move both coil buckets forward. This will be easy on pass side but will require more work on driver side, there is a bump out in the frame for the steering box.

Or you can skip all that and look for some used coilovers...

The only way to convert an electric case to manual is by installing a "Shiftster". Which still requires you to crawl under the truck to engage.....

An entire manual case can be swapped in though.

Do a quick search for the shiftster and one on manual case swaps. Its been covered numerous times on the site.
