Those Jeep Wrangler/ trailer kit tailights actually suit that truck pretty well. She's a beaut Tom.
Yes, yes they do. Thankfully there's no Heep decals on them.

Was that a jab?:thefinger:
You know me all too well. :D

Got the valves adjusted today, valve covers on, and the t-stat/t-stat housing on. Tomorrow I should have the balancer on. Still waiting for some stuff.
Here's what I ordered last night:
Edelbrock 800 cfm carb

Edelbrock Performer RPM fuel pump

MSD Ignition system (Pro-billet distributor, 6AL-2 ignition box, Blaster 2 coil)

why not go HEI with it ?

my buddy that just built a 327 went HEI , we use HEI on the Late model , and another kid that did a 358 ( 350 .060 over ) went HEI , HEI just seems a better setup

Why should I?

I prefer this setup to HEI.

By the way, which brand did he go with?

I got the balancer on Friday but I didn't have the camera with me. I took the camera with me today and the damn SD card wouldn't work so cell phone pics will have to do. Got the distributor in, valves adjusted, and I painted it gloss black to go with the pulleys. Tomorrow it will go on my engine cradle and I will start making up the spark plug wires.
