My credo
the grey-t escape
im on my 2nd set of mile marker hubs. the first set lasted 3 years. 4.0 with 235-15 tires. i thought about spending more money for the heavy-duty warn "jeep" hubs but decided that breaking a hub sure beats spitting out spider gears in the front diff or breaking a T-case chain. my hub failure was due to the internal sliding collar fracturing. the body was still good. if i could have gotton the internal parts sepertally i could have just rebuilt it. instead i got another $180 dollar set of MM's from autozone. here is what my broken one looked like when i took it apart:

The Wall thickness of the Mile Marker hub body is a bit thicker than the Warn units
so the internal parts are smaller.

Allegedly (and though I haven't actually compared...) the Mile markers
use the same casting for both D28 and D35 hubs...

so their smaller internal parts are more prone to breakage.

The Warns have a thinner boy thickness but since it is rarely
(anyone providing examples etter be prepared to bend over
when I give them back) the Hub body that breaks....

Warns seem to be the way to fly.

+1 For AllanD -for info
+1 on warn hubs

I had a chance to get warn or mile marker hubs for my truck and i really liked the warn hubs better becuase they seemed to be better made and also warn has been around for a while and always seem to be just a better brand...

Are you saying the warn hub bodys rarely break?

Here is a set of the Warn "Jeep" hubs. Running 31" LTB's.
