I have some plans for my 97 Ranger...it's a 2WD, 4 cylinder, auto, 2.30, reg cab longbed. I've already started
compiling some parts and things, first off I purchased new wheels.. 15x8 Rock Crawlers with 3.75 backspace, I want
to get tires but I have to get a lift of some type. I'm on a budget, I'm thinking a 3" PA body lift, do you think I
can get 33x12.5 R15's on the truck with the 3" lift? I've read the forums, looked at the pictures and it seems
there are trucks pulling it off with either no rub or minor rub. If the 33's don't work, maybe 32x11.5 R15's? I basically want to go with bigger tires than 31's but keep it
ecomomical with the 3" body lift. Of course after the tires go on I will also have to go with a regear. I've also
read up on the regear, what do you guys think a good set of gears would be for the 32" - 33" tire range with my
truck specs? Is that something I can hunt down in a junkyard? I thank you for this info..you all have been great
