Yesterday I went on my intro flight to getting my pilots license. I went up with the instructor and one of his students. This was the students 3rd flight, so only basic maneuvers were done. First was cross wind flying. Basically flying in a circle or square and compensating for drift. Then maintaining air speed while the flaps were set to max then min. After that the instructor show how to decrease air speed by, well throwing the plane sideways. Finally a few sketchy touch and goes. This was the students first time landing. So now I know what to expect. Next, my turn behind the controls.
Not sure if anyone here would be interested in this, since this is a truck forum. So I'll be posting my progress for those interested at another site: http://www.adventurerslife.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=28
