my truck is reving high when i start it and if i just let it go, it will stall out. when i put it gear it almost always wants to stall, but hesitates and then goes. i just got the truck and have very limited knowlege about engines, just looking for any suggestions, somthing that might be a quick fix, or just a general direction as to what i'm looking at.

thanks

Bad IAC.

There is what it looks like. You should find it on the driver's side of the manifold.
