Starting to get third shipments now, things are sitting a little longer but are still disappearing pretty quick.

Just have to wait 6 months till the panic wears off then we'll see brand new panic bought AR's selling for $400. And everyone thinning out their ammo stock for half of what they paid.:D

OR in 6 months...:thefinger:

I'm stocking up money, waving for the people to flood the market with AR's, 223 ammo, handguns, reloading stuff...whatever.

Sweet - what a great day. One of our close families friend's cancer is gone. As in no more tumors. In-laws come over with her to celebrate with a little champagne and I'm complaining about no ammo to my father in law. He says "Well, we can fix that right now." We walk out to his truck, he opens one the toolboxes and gives me a box of shells.

Whoot - Hell yah. Just scored 200 rounds of re-loads from my FIL's church buddy. $12/50. In TX to get a concealed, you have to shoot 50 rounds of factory ammo. I still can't find that. At least I've got something to practice with now.

I picked up 150 rounds of 9mm reloads for $12.99/50 at a local pawn shop this weekend, and found a few places around $15/50. .22 is hard to find now, and nothing in boxes bigger than 50 on the shelves.

Seriously? frigging .22's? I've got half a box of 500 but WTF? My boys can burn through that in no time. Almost all of the online ammo dealers I've checked into are out of stock. The prices haven't gone up that much but I'd think they'd be grabbing us by the balls.

I have an ass load of .22. Last count was something like 65,000. And the best part is, I didn't pay a dime for any of it.:D

have yall tried gun shows? i went to one this weekend (yes, the same one where the shooting was) and they had a good bit of ammo. it was pricey though. $20/50 9mm. didnt check on pricing for .22 but they had it too.

i just bought 500 rounds of 7.62x39 for my sks too, only $180 which is about what it was being the panic IIRC.

jester, where the hell did you get 65000 rounds of .22 for free? i thought i was prepared with my 3000 rounds. damn lol

Dead Uncle. I got 8 40mm ammo cans full of assorted ammo. One was full of assorted 12ga, one was all .22lr, and the rest was everything in between. Kept what I shoot and sold off the rest.
I was supposed to get a couple of guns, and his reloading equipment too, but my uncles wife went bat shit, fuk nuts insane after he passed.
These big bastards. That is a 50cal ammo can on the right inside the can for size comparison.

I've been buying a few boxxes here and there.. but lately We havent had squat but shotgun shells on the self... I was stoked to find 9 boxes Monarch 7.62x54r at Academy the other day, but I usually get my .40 cal Federal for 26.00 at walmart but they been wiped out for months. either place I like getting the little 50 round box of Federal .22 for the kids to plink with ($1.50 a box) but they are wiped out to... so hording mode is in full effect ... happy happy
