help please. i put a 2000 explorer 4.0 in my 2001 ranger and wont start. the ranger had a 3.0 and i swapped everything now i get no crank from the key and if i jump the solenoid theres no spark. fuel pump run and shuts off and fuel pressure is good at the rails. the explorer ran perfect and only had 85k on it. i need my truck for work. any help is greatly appreciated.

is there any difference in the engine wiring harness bulk plug that connects it to the rest fo the truck on the driver side?

any difference in any of the wiring? i think the computer are pretty much the same?

do i need to swap the steering column so it matches the ecm/pcm?

so what all do i need to swap into the ranger to make it run? i have the whole explorer. do i need to yank the whole engine bay harness with all the light connectors? does the dash have to come out so i can swap both fuse boxes?

i already swapped the engine, trans, pcm, and starter/ alternator harness, and steering column onto the ranger. everything plugged in and matched up but now it wont even crank unless i use a screwdriver on the starter

does the theft light blink really fast when you try to crank it? the PATS system may be jacked up on the no starter operation.
