HELP...96 RANGER FUEL LINE ?'S

I am replacing the fuel line harness on my dads truck but its been months since I took the old one out and now I dont rememeber the routing of the fuel supply harness. Does anyone have a diagram for that?? Thanks

What part are you having trouble with? They generally run inside the driver side frame rail. Not much to it really.

One thing this place tries very hard not to do is post up wrong info. Sure, we screw around and make fun of each other but when it comes to the technical stuff, we won't post if we aren't pretty sure of the answer. Not everyone logs in every day either. With forums, one has to be patient and realize the population count and traffic isn't like YouTube, Facebook, or Twitter.

That being said, from my experience, the above reply about most of the fuel lines running along the frame rail is correct but my experience is on 1998 Rangers and newer.

Along the rail mostly yes but somewhere near where the cab and bed meet and it goes into the fuel tank is where im getting confused..

Why... their fuel lines, not even the same size. Its physically impossible to run them or hook them up wrong. What is confusing you so much?

Im not confused how it hooks up but the route it takes the last 2 feet or so. There are a couple of ways it can run from there. One is through like a cross member or something that is in that area very close.

I havent found any diagram on it yet. Ill probably just have to crawl under there and just try to figure it out again. Its so damn tight in there once you get the tank lifted up

Mine does run through a hole where the cross member meets the frame.

Mine wraps around the catalytic converter 3 times then goes through the wheel and back up the side of the bed and into the tank
