Lol my sister bought brown gravy so we didn't have any either. That bird sounds good though.I spatchcocked our 12 lb bird this year. Mixed up some cajun butter and rubbed it all under the skin and dry brined it in the same cajun seasoning for 24 hours. It turned out really good. I didn't realize when I pulled the bird from the foil roasting pan I poked a hole in it. As I was carving the turkey I noticed my dog going nuts lapping up something on the floor. I thought maybe a spilled a little something... but he kept lapping. Then I realized all my turkey drippings had run onto the counter and were spilling onto the floor. Needless to say... I had a pretty big mess on my hands and no turkey gravy.
Got to watch the lions lose yet another game this year. So it seemed like a normal Thanksgiving Day
