Been searching google for links and etc.. can't find much.

More or less looking for info on full size ford transfer cases. What came in what what. Sizes, what fits what trans etc...

Doing another project, trying to figure out what to put behind a c6 in a b2 frame. I have a 1356 to use but they are so damn wide and the one I have is a slip yoke output. Want to find a fixed output and a smaller overall size.

A np205 would be a fixed yoke and it is narrower than the BWs. A dana 300 and dana 20 don't fit a C6. You would have to buy an adapter to run either of them being the splines are diff. Juat anbout any Case out of a full size will work they all have 31 spline and the same 6 bolt pattern.

A Np205 would be my choice. Most likely find it cheap and arguable the strongest tcase ever...

I think the 205 will fit. You also have the option of doing the 203/205 doubler, which would be real nice since the 205's low range isn't all that low. The automatic will help out a lot however.

Yea, with a 203/205 doubler you end up with 4:1 low which is nice. I'm in the process of making the adapters to do a 435/203/205 set in my early bronco. :yahoo:

little bit of info that i have found.. as far as the np203s came in 73-79 f100s and 78-79 f250 they are about 165 pounds

np205s came in 73-77.5 f100/f-150 77-79 f-250 and the 78-79 full size bronco they all bolt up to the same trans everything from np435 to the c6 i had a c6 off a big block ford and the np205 bolted up to it and it weighs about 140 pounds.

the 203/305 doubler weighs between 200-240 pounds..

and a plus to the 205 is its very very easy to twin stick also.. i did mine in about 30 min..

The 13-56 with a slip yoke is from an F-series, if you want the fixed rear output you need one from a full size bronco.

But the 13-56 IS wide.

As for the Dana 20 and Dana 300? Rare, mating issues...

NP205's are only slightly less compact FAR more rugged
and many times more common. and you can "twin-stick"
a 205.

a 205 CAN fit in a ranger, a 13-56 will probably require
surgery to the frame.

But be SURE to add the additional mount to the frame that
the 205 has provisions for.

If I was doing a V8 Ranger a 205 is what I'd use
But that's an easy choice because I've already got one.

id do 205 for twin stick capability. might also consider 208, lighter, but chain drive.
