my '79 dana 44 has some aftermarket spring mounts welded on 3" behind the axle centerline. i have a feeling that this is too much for the stock steering box with a drop pitman arm.

think it will work?

depends on steering material and joint sizes, but I doubt it. I pushed mine forward only like 1", but with 1.5" DOM tie rod/drag link plus 1 ton TRE's, its pretty tight at full stuff.

Easy fix, find another set of radius arms.
