I assume it is a factory alarm system?

Did Mazda do PATS system?

Ford had a relay in the under the hood power box that would stick and not disable the alarm, Ford part number FOAB-14B192-AA
You might try shutting off the key then opening the power box and tap on the relays.
Then try restarting.

There is a thread here on other options:

Now sure how applicable.

My 02 Exploer has a little flashing light center dash up by the windshield. It flashes once every second or two when not running. When you go to start, if the key chip is wrong or missing) that light will start to flash rapidly meaning it isn't going to start even though you have turned the key. The PATS anti-theft system kicking in. This is different than the alarm system that sets off horn and flashers.

I have no idea of the Mazda has the same.

These sophisticated systems with chips in the keys you can't force it to start by jumping anything if the code doesn't match what the car wants to see.

You have another key?
