Drivers door rebuild

Ok so .. cool I scored a good armrest from LKQ.

I do have a question ... anyone have a tip on how to deal with this curling window guide moulding ?? I was thinking a little gorilla glue.

The door needs a striker bushing. Headed over to home d for some 1/2 pex.

I have to review the videos on replacing the lock actuator. I have power windows and locks. The actuator is working but just dangling in there.

The door was making rattling noises when I closed it. While the panel is off I took a look and found while the actuator is working, its just dangling there. Anyone know of a good diagram or pic that shows how it should be mounted to the door ?

Is that the lock actuator - not that it matters. I have a door shell in the barn that I gutted a couple months back. I'll go check the harness and see what sort of fastener is attached to that mechanism.

The actuator clips into a white plastic bracket that should be riveted inside the door. With age the brackets do break.
