Adequate doses of vitamin D and Zinc are said to prevent contracting it and to lesson symptoms if you do contract it. Surgical masks are useless. The tests aren’t accurate at all. And the vaccines, based on what I’m hearing, are dangerous and might not do anything for us.

My coworker knows someone at Phizer who’s been working on one of the vaccines. He asked him if he’d take it, being that he has first hand knowledge in it. He said, “Hell no!”

Also, I had a weird flu-like virus last February. It might’ve been this virus. I’m not sure. Out of nowhere I threw up. Then felt dizzy for about a week. And lost some of my taste and smell. I got over it. But, I do take vitamins D and Zinc (and C) somewhat regularly. Especially in the winter season.
Yes, that's pretty much "a face down in palm" for the person reading it

Not that I find it surprising, I do read or hear similar every now and then

Would prefer not reading or hearing it, or maybe just a "Thank you" to those of us that do wear a mask and do get a vaccine so you don't have to

Even if its a "Pretend" thank you like covid is a "pretend" virus, is fine, don't have to mean it at all, just leave out everything before and after the "thank you" and we both go on our way

we are certainly headed down the path that didn't turn out to well last time...
If people would just stop being rude, we wouldn’t have a problem. You can all disagree with me. I don’t care. It’s when people are rude and pushy.

Not a pretend virus. This is what I mean about gaslighting and being rude. ...But in reference to this topic and many topics, we need to think middle ground and think common sense. The news media has lied to us about alot of this. That’s reality. And as far as the masks are concerned... if you only understood how tiny the virus particles are you’d realize that it would take a gas mask to stop. The pseudoscientific argument is that “masks (cloth and similar masks) help, because they stop saliva from projecting to other people.” However, if the virus is in someone’s saliva, it’s also in their breath and will go through these masks, like a hotdog going down a hallway. Not to mention that by wearing these masks, we’re reducing the amount of fresh air we intake. Which WILL lead to a weaker immune system.

It hurts just reading that drivel.

If only there were people that studied how diseases spread and could find ways to measure different treatments and responses, so we could decide how to proceed. We could test vitamin supplements, masks, vaccines, you name it.

If only...

Haven’t you ever gone on Facebook or YouTube? There’s plenty of people in there that barely passed high school that will explain it.

I sincerely doubt that anybody wants to know the answer to that question.

Edit... Scratch that, I'll bite...
What was your source for this 'science'?

So I gotta ask - if you go in for some heavy surgery, say open heart, are you going to ask all the operating room staff to de-mask so they don't make any oxygen deprived mistakes ? MIght as well as any microbes they are exhaling will "will go through these masks, like a hotdog going down a hallway"

Many sources for this actual science, not ‘science’, as you wrote. You can search it out, yourself. It’s not difficult. And I’ll say it, again.. the rudeness.

So… this is still a discussion? I think regardless of personal opinions we should all take precautions and be responsible. I hold an occupation which definitely illuminates observing clients who are in isolation wings. I have an everyday reality check.
