It rained pretty hard my first night at the Ford Nationals in Carlisle, PA last year. My new tent held up well. It's the kind with the floor that wraps up the side about 8" so the seam isn't on the ground. Trying to cook and eat in the rain for longer than a day is miserable though. Except for that one night the weather was fine. I camped there and again at the TRS 20th Anniversary Trail Ride. I'd still like to get a small trailer or a new Ranger with a mid-size slide-in from Travelite or Capri.As long as the tent stays dry a rainy night in a tent is a great nights sleep.
