My truck with just over 110,000, and a manual 5spd tranny, started having a transmission/clutch squeak last summer, and if it happens it is only when i am taking off. My dads semi trucks don't do this, my other truck doesn't do it, and well i haven't really heard it at all before, it sounds very much like im peeling out, but it is higher pitch and just makes you hurt inside if you know what i mean. Another thing i have noticed is downshifting, along with the noise, downshifting into first is getting worse, i know it is hard, but it has more recently started to grind the gears, something it has never done, as if im not using the clutch at all, even when its on the floor, but i know my dads semi trucks are like this, as well as my other truck, which has a brand new clutch in it, however it is an older truck, 1976 f250 w/460 4spd. From what i have read it may be my throw out bearing, however im not sure about the whole thing, and my dad is not helping me, just saying that i probly am peeling out, and for the record i know im not. So if you have had this problem, and have had it resolved, or know a little something about it i would love to hear from you,
Thanks, Chase
