Hey guys.
I don't get on here too often, but since I've been making nice with the Ranger lately, I figured I'd go ahead and share what I've been up to with
you guys.
Here's what it looked like when I bought it:
I've dubbed it the "Mountain Ranger."
It's a 1994 with 84,000 miles on it, a 98-02 front end, 95+ shell, 88 pushbar and the square-ass 88-94 interior.
Basically, when I started putting the Ranger together I only had a loose idea of what I wanted to do, I wanted to have a vehicle capable of light 2wd offroading that I could camp in that still looked decent.
I wanted a mountain-patrol kinda look to it, hence the "Mountain Ranger" was born.
I spent a grand for it, it's power NOTHING, I spend $20 for the brush guard, $180 for the shell, $60 for wheels/tires (yes sixty), and other than that I've had only a few minor issues-- all of which are cooling system related.
Also has new front brake calipers, new rear wheel ABS sensor, new brake pads, new Monroe Reflex shocks and a FRAM AirHog filter for my wheezy twinspark 2.3L.
So, yeah, comments welcome.
