I installed this product as described in the instructions. Red wire to 12v constant, brown wire to key on 12v, black wire to ground and purple wire spliced into black wire on O2 Sensor cable. The unit does not work. When I disconnect the unit the backlight will flash for a split second and turn off. When it is fully connected the power button doesn't do a thing. Anybody have any troubleshooting for this unit? Or do you think it's just defective?

No, I want to se air fuel ratio and mileage. It should be working but it seems to be a defective unit unless I'm missing something

Keep your mind like an umbrella, it only works if its open... Continually learning.
Are you sure the Red wire is to constant power even with key off?

Are you sure the Brown wire is to power in the run position?

Are you sure the ground has no paint in between the connection?

Yes 100%. The units were both defective(bought two for a super deal off amazon). They have been sent to Jet for warranty replacement. Will update once I receive and install new unit.
