Ive got ants, all over the truck, doesnt seem to be any in the cab, was watering the garden & noticed the hood, windshield & roof of the ranger have tiny black ants all over it. A few weeks back (maybe a month now) I had got the truck stuck in a marshy wet area that was shaded by trees, had ants in the door weatherstripping and cab floor. I vaccumed for days & sprayed with alcohol, thought I was rid of them. Haven’t even drove the truck much since gas went up, still not seeing any inside but the outside is unreal, not sure if theres more under the hood & chassis. It’s outside and you would think the heat would get ‘em. Id guess they came from underneath when the truck was in the evening shade. Really dont want to spray the outside with alcohol, thinking of driving it to work tomorrow. Took a few pictures but its hard to see them in the pictures, it just looks like bad paint. Anyone else have ant issues before? Im thinking I need to drive it more and they might leave.

Small ants don't live that long
They are most likely looking for a way to GET OFF the truck, lol
Help them along with garden hose

Chickens might eat ants, not sure I want to assemble the yard kennel around the truck though. Its parked on a asphalt pad just off the driveway, no anthills there. Plenty along the north property line but its aways from the truck.
