well my adventures started off when i got tired of the front end sag on my truck. i dont ever tow anything so i figured i could fix this.

so i went to fastenall. out of there millions of fasteners they failed to find any 1 3/8 id washers other than some that were like 8 bucks a piece. so i scrapped the washer lift and moved on

so i went to the ford dealer with the part numbers from the f150 coil seat lift page. i figured that they would be $15 just like the page said. i walked up to the service counter and told him. he told me $80 a piece.:icon_surprised: i about fell backwords. i could buy the skyjacker coils for that.

so thats where i am.
saggy front end and wondering what i should do now.
i dont feel like paying the $200 for the skyjacker coils and the alignment.

so what am i doing wrong any ideas?

Either way you will need an alignment.

I went with aluminum 2 inch coil spacers. No matter what you do you will need to get it lined up because you camber will be way off and you will roast your tires. Any more than 2" you will not be able to run stock camber bushings.

1-1/4" I.D. washers can be used after a small amount of work with a rat-tail file.

Junk yard is a great place to find the F-150 spacers, afterall they don't wear out right? Probably pick up a set for around $20 and won't have to worry about stacking wasers and they look better in my opinion. just my two cents.

There is nothing to worry about when stacking washers.
