Since I have some free time on my hands in the evenings, I thought I would do something productive on my Ranger. Heres what I did tonight......


My metal shop(for right now anyways).....

This is just the driverside, and I still need to make the cross braces and weld it all up(after the other side is ready). I think they are turning out well though. After these are done I will start bending for the cage(I'm really leaning towards losing the bed). Of course I will bend some sliders for the Explorer as well.....:icon_welder:

Awsome looking great. I love rock sliders, they saved my truck 4 or 5 times this weekend alone. You gonna tie the cage into them also? Thats what im doing to mine.

Yeah that's my plan as well(to run the cage into the sliders and F/R bumpers). Here they are finished on the truck. I have a few holes to drill/bolt down, but the are fairly strong right now......
