Hello all,,, It's been a long time since I've posted. I have a 94 with a 4.0. I'm in the middle of putting a new top end on it and there is a motor mount shock absorber on it. My question is, how important is it? with it gone the compartment would be cleaner. thanks

My credo
What's the worst that could happen?
I asked the same question a couple of months back. The answer was not important. It helps reduce engine vibration.
I left mine in as it wasn't hurting anything and looked like a PIA to take out.
