AFAIK a 1354 is a 1354... the only difference is the way you control it. So all the internals should be the same.

Just wondering, can you shift into 4hi from 2hi while moving with a manual? Since the electric is the same thing and will do it.

My credo
I didn't ask for your life story, just answer the question!
Most of the internals should be the same. If both have the same low range planetary gear sets... early 13-54s had 4 gear, later ones had 6 gear. The 6 gear uses a different front plate, gear set, shift hub, and shift fork. The are interchangeable, but all the parts I listed have to be swapped together.

The main shaft, chain, outputs, etc are all the same until you get into the later years with the front CV output.

If you have a place to store it, keep it for spare parts.
