O2 sensors don't get plugged. They are a sensor that creates electricity. The oyygen content in the exhaust makes them make electricity. When they degrade, they don't respond quickly or even put out inaccurate voltages. You could check one with a digital voltmeter, but a good one will change values so fast, it hard to read anything. A bad one won't act the same.
