yes it will turn over if i cross the relay with a screwdriver and even try to start but does nothing when i turn the key to start. I was wandering about the ignition cause when i got my doner truck it had no key so i drilled out the ignition and put in a new one I wonder if i screwed something up in the process

is the battery ok, are you doublly sure all your wires are in right, are you sure all your connections are tight, and did you possibly make a bad splice somewhere?

I dunno, that just sounds so much like something not getting enough power somewhere, and since the starter isn't kicking in, I'd suspect the KO start circuit. It'd be so much easier if I could have the truck right here to mess with.

You didn't say if it was auto to auto or what but if your using the original wiring don't forget you have a neutral safety or or clutch switch in there also.Depending on the combination you might have you might need to hunt that down put a volt meter on the actuator wire after making sure you have the right wire double check the color code from the donor vehicle out of the manual. If your thinking it might be the key take a take a test light and poke the source wire from the ignition switch to see if your getting any juice.
