My truck had a similar evolution. I went from 33's to SAS and 35's and now that they're wearing out I'm in the market for some 37's. Good luck with the build. You'll love the solid axle. I do anyways.

Don't bother regearing to 4.10's... I'd go 5.13's even with the 4.0L on 37's. Been there, done that... 4.56's were 'just' enough to make it managable on light radial 37s.

Im with you on that one. 35's and 4.56s are just about perfect with a mild 4.0 for me.

How much lift did you have in that shot on 35's?

Yeah I hear ya well the 8.8 is 410s so I figured screw it I have 410s for he 44 already ill just put them in but I plan on going with a 302 swap very soon when i finish the sas so u think it should be bad with the v8?

So that's roughly close to what I expect to have, except I'm doing all suspension.

Power only overcomes a lack of gearing if you want wheel speed such as for straight mud or snow.... it still doesn't give you the control to wheel rock, or go slowly down a trail. It's also hard on transmissions, both auto and stick....
