I have a 1990 ranger with the 2.9. last week i was leaveing work and when i went to start the truck all it did was crank and not turn over, but i noticed my fuel pump was still running. i eventually got it started and it runs fine once started. i changed the fuel pressure regulator thinking it was stuck open but that didnt fix the issue. now it wont start at all no matter what i do, and the fuel pump just keeps going and going no matter how long i let it sit. do you think if i put a new pump in it would fix the issue or could it be something else. any help would be appreciated.
