Well I finished my truck a while ago and I have put about a 4000 miles on it. So it is time to show it off before I have to sell for a Family car.

The start.

the start of the dash swap form the 04 xlt.

Now the finished project.

And now the build specs
interior:
Has a dash and gauge swap from a 2004 Ranger. Console and Overhead Console are from a 99 Explorer. Seats are out of 1980's Escort and Seat Tracks are from a Bronco II, so it is easier to get into the back seats. It also has a sunroof. Custom Grant Steering Wheel.
-Exterior:
Flat black paint with Fiberglass front fenders, Prerunner front bumper, Prerunner rear tire carrier, factory STX light bar, HID headlights and Custom LED tail lights.
-Front end:
Dana 44 TTB front axel out of 1984 bronco with all new ball joints, Tie Rods and Bushings. New steering box, 4'' lift, King Reservoir shocks, limiting straps and Camburg extented radius arms. -Rear End:
8.8 limited slip differential out of a 2004 ranger. New rear shocks and extended shackles.

Sadly at this point the truck is for sale. Just doesn't work with a baby seat and has been replaced by my Super Duty. So Im sad to be leaving theRangerstation. Now that all my rangers are sold. It has been a great group that I have learned many things and gave me the confidences to concord this task and many other projects on my previous trucks. thank you everybody who has been involved with this build and many of my dumb questions over the years.

How was putting that dash in?

I have stringently held to the idea of never swapping away from my Gen1 interior, but now I am intrigued.

surprisly easy if you dont mind cutting large holes in the fire wall for the air conditioner blower box. It makes you glad ford was kinda lazy about changing the ranger int, Dimensions over the years. on each side I took angle iron and made brackets to bolt the dash too. On the firewall I was able to drill and weld nuts on for the top/front bolts.

Oh screw AC. I don't need it and don't want it. Now I am really interested.

This might have to happen to my BII.
