I got to borrow an old Starrett dial inch pound torque wrench for the pinion gear on the rear. That was real handy as it quickly shows you what force it takes to turn the pinion.
I happened on one at a yard sale. Got it for a you suck price.

I have the one with the interchangeable heads and two speed gear box. I don't use the other attachments that came with it, hedge trimmer and edger, but I really like the two speed gear box. I got it for free from my brother when he moved.

Love it. I will never buy another gas trimmer as long as I can avoid it.

My credo
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
Got this and I like it. It's not perfect. But it's pretty easy to improve. Swag Offroad fingerbrake press brake for the HF 20ton hydraulic press.

I recently bought a metric set of the Tekton long handle, flex head, ratcheting box end wrenches.

I've had the standard set for a while and I liked them. I recently got an email from Tekton saying they were discontinuing that style of wrenches, but would replace them with something else.

I liked the style I had, and wanted a matching set, so I went and ordered the metric ones. Pricey, but very handy.

Got a work bench today. Has a little surface rust. But for $20 and a 2 1/2hr round trip to pick it up = not bad. Took me almost 3 weeks of messaging the guy to finally coordinate our schedules.

Wow! It's already painted and everything :D

I was on a remodel job a long time ago, commercial offices, and they were replacing every door in it.
We had a stack of solid (laminated strips) core, 7 foot oak doors about 4 ft deep out back. take all you want.

I got one of the HF 1/4 inch heads, think I'll need one somewhere on the intake.

I'll one day need it for a 16 inch pound on my front axle bearing, it's a 2 3/8 inch socket with a 1/2 hole in it, I wonder how that might work out :D

I think the word you're looking for is patina.

Makes the price go up.

Patina = nice way of saying bad paint and rust.

I anger-purchased one of those when my gas trimmer wouldn't start a few years back. I will never again own a gas trimmer.

Cordless tools are like meth. Once you get started something changes in your brain and you can't go back again.

Yesterday I spent $24 on four fixer upper DeWalt drills, a nice cylinder ridge reamer, three brand new Craftsman tin snips, two rolls of 3M sandpaper, 2 gallons of 0w-40 synthetic oil, a 60 amp breaker box w/ breakers and a rack mount keyboard tray... it was a good day.

Two weeks ago I bought a nice fixer upper Craftsman snow blower for a hundred bucks, fixed it and traded it to a guy on Craigslist for a hundred bucks and about $350 worth of reloading equipment.

Really would like to do more trading, I got a lot of cool stuff that way.
