New tools you've bought recently?

We all love tools so... What sorts of new tools have you bought recently?

Went out to dinner last night, and it just so happens that the restaurant I picked was right next to hazard fraught convenient!

Exchanged my recalled 3 ton 'murder stands' for the updated 6 tons. I was confident my recalled stands were fine, as mine had much nicer 'teeth' than the ones that were collapsing.. but they're not tall enough to be useful for trucks so I took my opportunity to upgrade.

Vice and bench grinder because my 'shop' didn't have either, always used a buddys.

Metal chop saw so I could build the flatbed for my squarebody.. again.. without needing to bother my buddy for his.

Unpictured, but also bought some digital calipers and a USB rechargeable flashlight that supposedly puts out 1600 lumens.

Got 10% off the total because it was my first purchase with their store credit card, and got nearly 20$ in 'harbor freight bucks' or whatever they want to call it.

After nearly a decade of being somewhat reliant on my (awesome) buddys tools to do things other than basic maintenance.. I got tired of it. I'm mostly set up now, feels good.

I also just replaced my fuel pressure gauge. It also looks like I will be replacing the G-Unit fuel pump.

Vulcan Mig 215 welder. Its seems to weld pretty good really, Welded my rock sliders on with it. Pretty happy with it so far! Also bought an amazon special plasmas cutter love the thing, it has been great so far. Use it quite a bit really I've used it quite a bit really.

I know nothing about how to weld other than reading about it. This was an inexpensive ($200) entry level learning tool for me.

Hope it lasts better than the one my dad got for use around the home, just over a spool of wire through it and it won’t feed to weld with but it will cold feed all day. Haven’t torn into it yet to find the problem. When it worked, it was a great little welder. When it didn’t I was wishing I would have picked up the deal on a Miller that I saw last year. Currently starting to look around for a small Lincoln or maybe one of the other brands. Most small welders have just a high/low switch for welding power and the Titanium had an adjustable dial like a big welder and that was much nicer than a high/low.

I'm pretty sure I'd rather be setting toe. I hate plumbing work.

Believe me, I read all the reviews. I can't justify spending 4-500 on a tool that I may or may not use more than once or twice a year. And hopefully it will last long enough to help me understand more about the process.
