I used a beam style torque wrench. Just a few bucks at local auto parts store.I just ran to harbor freight and stocked up on silicon carbide grinding wheels for my dremel. Waiting for my buddy to bring home my pinion depth tool and dial indicator. I don't have a dial indicating torque wrench so im a tad nervous doing the pinion pre-load but I think I can do it with a clicky style if I'm very carefull.
I've never seen them in inch pound though. I have a beam style but it starts at like 20ft lb.I used a beam style torque wrench. Just a few bucks at local auto parts store.
The one I have is a 1/4" drive, inch/lb. Only issue I had was I needed a 1/2" drive socket.I've never seen them in inch pound though. I have a beam style but it starts at like 20ft lb.
Same here. I had to "reduce it up" to 1/2".The one I have is a 1/4" drive, inch/lb. Only issue I had was I needed a 1/2" drive socket.
