tk5 to m50d-r1 master cylinder compatibility

i have a 2.3 85 ranger 4*2 with the tk5 and its going out i found a m5odr1 out of 89 ranger 2.3 4*2 will the tk5 master cylinder work with the m5od and is there any wiring problems that i mite run into

I've run both a TK5 and M5 with the same master, no problem. The hydraulic fittings on the slaves, well that's a problem. Much different.

the master is exactly the same from 1983-1992.

that master will work with the 1983-84 external slave, the "top connect"
1985-87 slave and the "aluminum SIDE CONNECT slave used from 1988-92.

It can be made to work with the 1993-up slave but only if you NEVER push the pedal all the way to the floor (shit starts to break)
