Plan tomorrow after work (I get off at 11) is to winch it outside, put the battery charger on it and clean up the garage and put tools away and if I can hold myself back work on the fan relays.

Then when I can't take it anymore we will see if it will do anything.

I know I'm a little late to the discussion, but I've found oddball half size wires is common in cheap applications like basic car audio. It's also usually copper clad aluminum. IE: CRAP.

For stripping I use a pair of Plastic Process Equipment gate cutters. Usually the 7" sometimes the 6". The blades are so soft it won't cut much wire before it it's a serrated edge. LOL. I've learned to feel the difference between the insulation and the wire.

Your link is asking me to download a pdf. Any way you can screenshot the info and post it?

It looks like a catalog page for a bunch of dikes and end nippers. I don't see anything on it thst I would use for wrie stripping except in an emergency.
