This may be the first thing you’ve ever said that I agree with.
They’re caps. Camper shell is kinda acceptable. Topper just sounds like something a kid would call it.

Oxygen is essential. Air is 78% nitrogen... not essential.

Nitrogen is inert, but takes up space.

Our atmosphere needs to be at roughly the density it is at or we would depressurize. We need that pressure to maintain life.

If you reduced our atmosphere to just the ~21% of breathable oxygen the air would be too thin to breath, the water in our bodies would either freeze, or boil, and the lack of density would make the atmosphere incapable of retaining enough heat.

Just look at Mars.
