Got the plug wires in today so I went out there and got to working, finished replacing the plugs, cap, rotor, and wires. I figured out why my engine was running funny yesterday... My #3 plug wire wasn't plugged in... I know that I plugged it back in yesterday, but it was after I put the tire back on, so it was hard to reach. I guess I didn't plug it in all the way. I triple checked all of my connections this time. Haven't taken it for a test drive, but idle went back to the way it was. Thanks for your help so far guys.
Just realized I haven't really addressed the compression test. I never did one, which is really stupid of me. I returned the tester to O'Reillys yesterday because I didn't know when I'd have time to do it. Now that I know how to get all the plugs out, a compression test will be a lot faster. Whenever I have the time to do one, I will.
Just remembered another thing. When I started it up I remembered to check how much air was coming outta my exhaust, to eliminate a clogged cat. There's a fair amount of air coming out, not sure what would be considered good. It's not a steady flow, it's more like a heart beat is the best way I could think to explain it.
Had a question about the fuel injector cleaner. The local auto parts store doesn't seem to have the startron stuff somebody was talking about, but what about Chevron techron? Read online and it seems to be pretty good stuff.
