have the pieces needed for transfer case swap. what do i do with the speed sensor from from ranger transfer case?? the explorer awd unit had one but the 96 bronco electric shift i bought does not!

Find a t-case that is set up for it... although I would have thought the '96 Bronco would.
checked 7 different, none of the bronco 1356's from 92-96 have a speed sensor
now what?

That's because those years used a Hall effect switch in the rear end for the VSS. A 1356 from an 87-91 F-150 or Bronco still has the speedometer gear drive on the tailshaft.
I am not sure if the earlier version will work for you or not.
